1. Information We Collect
The portal may collect staff ID, full name, phone number, department, voter status, nomination information, candidate photos, observer details, admin login activity, audit logs, device information, and timestamps.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to verify eligible voters, prevent duplicate voting, manage nominations, send OTP or election SMS messages, support observer monitoring, generate reports, and maintain a trusted election audit trail.
3. Voting Privacy
The system is designed so that public results show totals and winners, not a public list of how individual staff voted. Election administrators must use any internal election records only for official audit, security, backup, and dispute-resolution purposes.
4. OTP, SMS, and Third-Party Services
The portal may use trusted services such as SMS gateways, hosting providers, CAPTCHA protection, and domain/security providers to operate the system. These services may process limited technical information needed to deliver OTP codes, protect forms, and keep the portal online.
5. Cookies and Sessions
The portal uses secure session cookies to keep voters, observers, and administrators signed in during their current activity. These cookies help protect the process and are not used for advertising.
6. Data Security
Access controls, admin authentication, audit logs, CAPTCHA checks, OTP verification, database backups, and role-based pages help protect the election data. No system is perfect, but reasonable technical and administrative controls are used to reduce risk.
7. Data Retention
Election records may be kept after an election for reporting, archives, audit, dispute review, and legal or organizational accountability. The election committee or authorized IT team may reset active election data when preparing for a new election, while preserving archived results where required.
8. Your Responsibilities
Staff should keep their staff ID, phone number, OTP, application number, and login credentials private. Do not share codes or attempt to access another person's record.
9. Contact
For privacy questions or support, contact [email protected] or call 0592934612.
